Website Terms of Use
Plain terms for using this website. They cover the site itself — access to the Cuttleflow platform and marketplace is governed by separate agreements.
Last updated 25 July 2026 · Version 1.0
01 · Who we are and what these terms cover
This website is operated by Cuttleflow Pty Ltd, trading as Cuttleflow Systems, ABN 86 699 564 871 (“Cuttleflow”, “we”, “us”). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms cover this public website only. If your organisation uses the Cuttleflow platform or, if the proposed Cuttleflow Marketplace launches, transacts on it, that use is governed by the written agreement between Cuttleflow and your organisation and by the platform’s own terms. Where those agreements and these terms differ, those agreements prevail.
02 · Information only
The content of this website is general information about our software and services. It is not financial product advice or a recommendation about any insurance product, and it does not take account of any person’s objectives, financial situation or needs. Cuttleflow does not issue, arrange or advise on insurance products through this website.
Anyone considering an insurance product should read the relevant policy documents and speak to a licensed insurance adviser or broker. References on this website to insurance products, product classes or market participants are descriptions of what our software does — not offers, recommendations or statements of opinion about any product.
03 · Using this website
You may browse this site, and download or print material from it, for your own business or personal information. You must not:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that interferes with its operation or with other users;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, the platform, or related systems;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data from the site, including for training machine-learning models, without our written consent;
- introduce malicious code, or probe or test the vulnerability of the site other than under a responsible-disclosure arrangement agreed with us; or
- misrepresent an affiliation with Cuttleflow, or use our name, logo or marks without permission.
The governance documents we publish — including the draft Marketplace Constitution and the Independence Roadmap — are meant to be read, quoted and cited. Nothing in this section is intended to discourage that.
04 · Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, design, graphics, the Cuttleflow name, wordmark and bearing mark — is owned by or licensed to Cuttleflow and protected by copyright and trade mark law. Except for browsing and the limited uses described above, you may not reproduce, adapt or distribute any part of it without our written permission.
Separately, if the proposed Marketplace launches, we intend to publish its technical protocols under a royalty-free licence that anyone may implement. Any such grant would be made in the protocol documents themselves and would not be limited by this section.
05 · Accuracy and changes
We take care to keep this website accurate and current, but content may become out of date and we do not promise it is complete or error-free. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time without notice. Product descriptions on this site do not form part of any contract with Cuttleflow unless expressly incorporated into a written agreement.
06 · Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites. Those links are provided for convenience; we do not endorse and are not responsible for the content of any third-party site.
07 · Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that: this website is provided “as is”; we exclude all other conditions, warranties and guarantees, whether express or implied; and Cuttleflow is not liable for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue or data) arising from use of, or inability to use, this website or its content. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant services or paying the cost of resupply.
08 · Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
09 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
10 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
